Welcome to Wyke. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of getwyke.com (the “Site”). By using the Site or joining our waitlist, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site.
Wyke is building a social community app for people who love to cruise. This Site is our pre-launch home, here to share what Wyke is and let you sign up to be notified at launch. When the Wyke app becomes available, separate terms will govern your use of the app itself.
1. Eligibility
The Site is intended for people aged 17 and older. By using it, you confirm you meet this requirement.
2. The waitlist
You may give us your email address to be notified about Wyke’s launch and progress. Joining the waitlist doesn’t create any obligation on your part, and we can’t guarantee a specific launch date, features, or availability in your region. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in our emails or by contacting us.
3. Acceptable use
When using the Site, you agree not to: use it for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms; attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems; interfere with or disrupt the Site (including scraping, automated data collection, or attacks); or submit false information or someone else’s personal information without permission.
4. Intellectual property
The Site and its content — including the Wyke name, logo, “Leave your wake.” tagline, text, graphics, and design — are owned by Wyke or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Site or its content without our permission.
5. Not a travel agency; no cruise-line affiliation
Wyke is a community platform, not a travel agency, tour operator, or booking service. We do not sell, book, or manage cruises, and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any cruise line unless explicitly stated. Any cruise, ship, or port references are for community and informational purposes only.
6. Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party websites or services (for example, app-store pre-registration pages). We’re not responsible for the content or practices of those third parties, and their terms and privacy policies apply.
7. Disclaimers
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don’t warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any information on it is complete or accurate. You use the Site at your own risk.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wyke and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Site.
9. Changes
We may update the Site and these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we’ll update the “Last updated” date. Continuing to use the Site after changes means you accept them.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
