1. Eligibility

The App and Site are intended for people aged 17 and older. By creating an account, you confirm you meet this requirement.

2. The waitlist

You may give us your email address to be notified about Wyke’s launch and progress. Joining the waitlist doesn’t create any obligation on your part, and we can’t guarantee a specific launch date, features, or availability in your region. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in our emails or by contacting us.

3. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity under it. You may not share your account or sign-in credentials. You may delete your account at any time from within the App (Settings → Delete Account) or at getwyke.com/delete-account.

4. Acceptable use

When using the App or the Site, you agree not to:

• Use them for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Post content that is illegal, abusive, harassing, or infringes others’ rights.
• Impersonate another person.
• Use the App to spam, solicit, or send unsolicited messages.
• Attempt to circumvent content moderation or filtering.
• Upload content you don’t have the right to share.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, Site, or their systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the service (including scraping, automated data collection, or attacks).
• Submit false information or someone else’s personal information without permission.

5. User-generated content

You retain ownership of content you post. By posting, you grant Wyke a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and store your content as part of operating the App. You can remove your content at any time by deleting it, or by deleting your account. We may remove content that violates these Terms or our community standards.

6. Content moderation

We may review, filter, or remove content that violates these Terms. Uploaded media is automatically scanned for illegal content. Users can report content and block other users. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate our standards.

7. Intellectual property

The App, the Site, and their content — including the Wyke name, logo, “Leave your wake.” tagline, text, graphics, and design — are owned by Wyke or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the App, the Site, or their content without our permission.

8. Not a travel agency; no cruise-line affiliation

Wyke is a community platform, not a travel agency, tour operator, or booking service. We do not sell, book, or manage cruises, and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any cruise line unless explicitly stated. Any cruise, ship, or port references are for community and informational purposes only.

9. Third-party links

The Site may link to third-party websites or services (for example, app-store pre-registration pages). We’re not responsible for the content or practices of those third parties, and their terms and privacy policies apply.

10. Disclaimers

The App and Site are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don’t warrant that the App or Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any information on it is complete or accurate. You use the App and Site at your own risk.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wyke and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the App or Site.

12. Changes

We may update the App, the Site, and these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we’ll update the “Last updated” date. Continuing to use the App or Site after changes means you accept them.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
